G.P. Global Power Ltd. (Global Power) and its shareholders have been active in the field of infrastructure for many years. Global Power focuses on initiating and developing projects in the infrastructure industries in general and in energy (electricity, thermal energy), garbage and water, in particular.
Global Power holds the field of infrastructure as one of the industries with the highest significant growth potential in the world in general and in Israel in particular, in the coming years.
Global Power’s investments are focused on projects in the field of distributed power, with high-energy utilization levels (combined cycle, cogeneration), and renewable energy in the fields of biomass and pumped storage.
Global Power is a leading firm formed to invest in the dynamic and fast-growing energy and clean energy markets. Global Power is focusing on investments exclusively in distributed power projects, high efficiency, energy and renewable energy in sectors that include solar energy, biomass, and storage.
Given the growing concern about the true environmental costs of energy generation and the supply risk of energy, the sector is moving towards high efficiency, distributed power generation to avoid wheeling cost, grid failure, and peak consumption shaving. The complexities surrounding energy regulation, market access, technology, finance, commodity risk management and taxation require a sophisticated understanding of these attributes and how their interaction impacts investments in that sector. The background, experience and track record of its founders, shareholders and professional team qualifies Global Power to recognize, develop, manage and capitalize on these opportunities.
