Global Dorot Ltd. (Dorot Power Plant) is in its advanced stages of planning a power plant in the Kibbutz Dorot
Industrial Zone located in the southern part of Israel, 70 km from Jerusalem.
The power plant will operate using the cogeneration method (CHP – Combined Heat and Power) with a planned
output of up to 0.5 MW of electricity.
The power plant will provide all the electricity and energy needs of Kibbutz Dorot and nearby industrial consumers.
Excess power, if any, will be sold to other consumers through the Electric Company grid.

Founded in 1941, kibbutz Dorot is located in the northeastern Negev. The kibbutz’s economy is based on agriculture, industry and tourism.
The kibbutz features two factories: An industrial valve plant, and a garlic production plant.
