Ginegar Power Ltd. (the Ginegar Power Plant) is in its advanced stages of planning and licensing for the construction
of a power plant in Kibbutz Ginegar, located in the northern part of Israel, 120 km from Jerusalem. The Ginegar Power Plant
holds an approved Town Construction Plan for the construction of the power plant.
The power plant will operate using the cogeneration method (CHP – Combined Heat and Power) with a planned
output of up to 7 MW of electricity. It will provide all the electricity and energy needs of the Ginegar Plastics Works Ltd.
plant (Ginegar Plastic) and that of Kibbutz Ginegar. Excess power, if any, will be sold to other consumers through
the Electric Company conduction grid
Ginegar Plastics Ltd. (Ginegar Plastics):
Ginegar Plastics, located in the Kibbutz, is active in Israel and abroad in the manufacturing and marketing of a variety
of multi-layer polyethylene sheets to consumers in the fields of agriculture and industry.
Kibbutz Ginegar:
The kibbutz is located in the northern part of Israel near Migdal Ha’emek, part of the Jezreel Valley Regional Council.
