Noam Power Ltd. (Tara Power Plant) is in its advanced stages of planning and licensing for the construction
of a power plant on the Tara Dairy Plant Ltd., (Tara) located on N.E.M. Industrial Park,
in the southern part of Israel, 90 km from Jerusalem.
The power plant will operate using the trigeneration method (CCHP – Combined Cooling, Heating and Power)
with a planned output of up to 10 MW of electricity. It will provide all the electricity and thermal energy needs
of Tara and various consumers in the N.E.M Industrial Zone.
Excess power, if any, will be sold to other consumers through the Electric Company conduction grid.

The Tara Dairy Plant is an Israeli company, part of the Central Company for the Production of Soft Drinks (Coca-Cola).
Some 160 dairy farms provide Tara with 135 million liters of milk per year.
The Company markets its products through four distribution and sales branches.
The dairy plant moved to its new venue in Netivot in July 2013, and currently employs 360 workers
