Aviv Hovav Pikar Ltd. (the Aviv Hovav Power Plant) is in its final stages of planning
and licensing for the construction of a power plant at the Aviv Recycling Ltd. plant (Aviv Recycling),
located in the Ramat Hovav Industrial Zone in the southern part of Israel, 110 km from Jerusalem.
The power plant will operate using the cogeneration method (CHP – Combined Heat and Power),
with a planned output of up to 60 MW of electricity.
The power plant will provide most of its electrical output to the power grid using the Electric Company conduction grid.
Excess power, if any, will be sold to other consumers through the Electric Company conduction grid

Established in 1992 the Aviv Recycling plant is a pioneer in the field of plastic waste recycling in Israel.
The plant's recycling capacity reaches 9,000 tons of plastic waste per year which is sold to customers in Israel and abroad.
